Folio 279: James Northey, HMS Curlew, Deptford. Reports that the Carpenter appointed to HMS Curlew absented himself from HMS Bonne Citoyenne some time ago and has not been heard of since. He is also of poor character. Requests another appointment, and a Boatswain.
