Folios 243-244: Josiah Nisbet, 2 Francis Street, Bedford Square, [London]. Sends a receipt for his accounts and the Muster Books for HMS Bonne Citoyenne, from 13 September 1798 to 2 April 1799. They never arrived, possibly because the ship they were put on was captured. He has made out a new set of Muster Books but cannot replace his accounts. Requests a dispensation so that he may receive his pay.
Folio 245: enclosure with folios 243-244. Receipt dated 9 December 1799, signed by Richard Mowbray, Commanding Officer, acknowledging receipt of a box on HMS Fulminnate addressed to Messrs Marsh and Creed, Navy Agents, London, said to contain the Muster Books and Captain Nisbet's accounts as Commander of La Bonne Citoyenne between 13 September 1798 and 2 April 1799.
