Folios 141-142: Martin Nevile, HMS Port Mahon, Tobago. Reports his arrival on 29 June. Commodore Hood left orders for him at Barbados to proceed to Tobago without delay. Captain Nevile delivered the dispatches addressed to the Commodore when the latter arrived at Tobago on 30 June. He also delivered the dispatches to Lt General Grinfield and others for the Leeward Islands. He was ordered to cover the landing of the troops at Courland [Tobago], and having done that he is hurrying to join Sir John Thomas Duckworth in Jamaica. Regrets he was unable to arrive sooner due to adverse weather until 12 June.
