Folios 133-134: Martin Nevile, HMS Port Mahon, Poole. Acknowledges the letter of 30 April informing him that the two pressed men mentioned - William King and Richard Clinch - have been found unfit for service. The Surgeon pronounced them fit, and they claimed to be more than 18 years old. He proceeded with them to Cawsand Bay, but the adverse weather meant the passage took 10 days. Neither of the men had been at sea previously and they were sick for the whole voyage. He imagines this is why they were judged unfit for service when re-examined. Footnote: the Impress Warrants expired on 30 April. Requests instructions.
