Encloses a letter from Lieutenant John Gourly of HMS Mary, whom he has employed aboard the Osnaburgh Revenue vessel in collecting quota men from the fishermen on the coast of Scotland. Asks is he can be given an allowance for his expenses.
Folios 321-322: enclosed with folios 319-320. Letter dated 15 December 1803 from Lieutenant John Gourly, the Osnaburgh Revenue vessel, Leith Roads to Regulating Captain James Nash. Reports that he has been to considerable expense while collecting men for the fleet along the coast of Scotland, the more so because he is no longer being provisioned from the tender HMS Mary. Asks if he can be reimbursed for these expenses.
