Folios 208-209: James Nash, Regulating Captain, Leith Rendezvous. As the Admiralty has directed him to collect a quota of men from the fishermen, he has sent Lieutenant John Gourly on that task and despatched Lieutenant Archibald Bryan Meheux in HMS Mary with 130 men to the Nore. Asks if he can have another officer for the Impress Service and recommends Lieutenant William Malone, who is already in Leith. Postscript. Encloses a list of men who have volunteered for HMS Northumberland.
Folio 210: enclosed with folios 208-209. James Nash, Regulating Captain, Leith Rendezvous. A nominal list of 17 men raised by Lieutenant Hodge for HMS Northumberland and sent aboard the tender HMS Mary between 1 and 29 July 1803.
