Folios 229-230: James Nash, HMS Falcon, Deptford. Following his Application to the Governor of Greenwich Hospital for sick men who might assist in fitting the Ship and receiving 30 on board, he has found that he had employment for 20 more men. Having made a second application, the Lieutenant Governor advises that he needs an order from the Admiralty which he now requests.
Folio 231: enclosure with folios 229-230. A Daily Progress of HMS Falcon dated 14 March 1801 from James Nash, Commander Deptford to the Admiralty. This details How (the men have been) Employed, the Number of Artificers on Board, the Water and Provisions (on board), the Cause of the Detention and the Probable Time of being Ready for Sea.
