Folios 107-108: James Newman Newman, HMS Loire, Jersey. Reporting his arrival in St Heliers Bay so that he can be under the orders of [Philippe] D'Auvergne Prince D'Bouillon as directed.
Folio 109: enclosure with folios 107-108. List of Deserted from HMS Loire at Portsmouth Harbour dated 27 August 1800 by James Newman Newman to the Admiralty. List of 2 men from Dungarvon [Dungarvan?] with surnames of Fitzgerald and Lewis who deserted from his Ship giving their number, dates of entry, ages, names and quality/rank on board plus the date they deserted and their descriptions.
