Folios 88-89: James Newman Newman, HMS Loire, Lisbon. Reporting on his arrival with the convoy and that he had advised the British Consol he would return to this anchorage to Convoy the trade to England. Also reporting that he had previously safely arrived at Gibraltar Bay with the Convoy except for HMS Hexam [Hexham?] Bomb Tender who parted company due to bad weather but had safely arrived into port. In addition reporting seeing Battle Ships plus HMS Anson with a Convoy for Gibraltar. Cape St Vincent is also mentioned.
