Folios 82-83: James Newman Newman, HMS Loire, Plymouth. Regarding the impressment of 3 men from the Lord Hawke Privateer of this port when cruizing off Corunna when he was in HMS Mermaid and asking for defence in the Court of Kings Bench as they had no protection and making a case that the vessel was under no distress as a result. Mr [Thomlinson?] is also mentioned.
