Folios 106-107: James Norman, HMS Medusa at Cove of Cork. Reports the arrival of the Queen of France (ship) from America with despatches [not present] from His Majesty's Consul General. The Queen of France was brought by the Georgett a ship privateer of 20 Guns from Nantz which put on board her 12 men, the crew of the brig Elizabeth (her prize) George Lee, Master 10 days from Jersey loaded with salt and provisions for Newfoundland. He has impressed the men for His Majesty's service.
