Folios 272-273: Anthony Maitland, HMS Pique, Plymouth Sound. Encloses a letter from Benjamin Goddard, Seaman, who was supposed to join HMS Pique and was on board HMS Enterprise and on his way but was drafted to HMS Iphigenia.
Folio 274: enclosure with folios 272-273. Letter dated 21 October 1815 from Benjamin Goddard, Seamen, the Downs to Captain Anthony Maitland, HMS Pique. Stated he was on HMS Enterprise on his way to join HMS Pique when he was taken on board HMS Iphigenia. Request to be discharged to HMS Pique from HMS Iphigenia, as he wants to serve with him and not go to the East Indies.
