Folios 191-192: Andrew Mitchell, HMS Helicon, Plymouth. Acknowledges the appointment of Lieutenant William Bridges to HMS Alert during his absence on leave. Having now returned from leave, requests that he be allowed to appoint Lieutenant Richard Brydges to the post of First Lieutenant, having served three and a half years as a Lieutenant on HMS Helicon. Requests that a Lieutenant junior to him is now appointed as Lieutenant Gilbert Kennicott was appointed and he is senior.
