Folios 187-188: Thomas James Malling, Scots House, Durham. States that Captain Charles Ogle, HMS Ramillies, has reported to him that Simon Baldwin, who was a Coxswain on HMS Undaunted, deserted when he served under Captain George Charles Mackenzie. He is now a volunteer serving on HMS Ramillies transferring to her from HMS Mosquito, in which he had served 3 years. Requests that the Admiralty consider removing the 'deserter' annotation from HMS Undaunted books for September 1810 in view of his good conduct.
