Description

Folios 225-226: MacDowell [James M'Dowal], Regulating Officer, Greenock. Reply to letter dated 15 June 1815 and state the case of James Churchfield, he was impressed from the sloop [?] "a Liverpool Tender" by Lieutenant George Dove on 5 June 1815. He produced a discharge from HMS Salvadore dated 28 June 1808 signed by Captain Worly [Thomas Wolley].

Folios 227-228: enclosure with folios 225-226: Certificate signed by Captain Thomas Wolley HMS Salvador del Mundo of the discharge of James Churchfield (No 50616) from HMS Salvador del Mundo [Folio 228] James Churchfield. To Admiralty. Covering letter for the attached copy of a Discharge.
