Description

Folios 181-182: Samuel Malbon, [His agent] Hugh Stanger, Clements Inn. on 29 May 1815 he wrote and enclosed Vice Admiral The Honourable Sir Alexander Cochrane's Commission appointing Samuel Malbon to Act Commander of HMS Peruvian and requested this be confirmed. He encloses Vice Admiral The Honourable Sir Alexander Cochrane's Commission appointing him to Command HMS Thistle.

Folio 183: enclosure with folios 181-182. Warrant dated 1 October 1814 by Sir Alexander Cochrane to Samuel Malbon giving Samuel Malbon the rank of Commander of HMS Peruvian. (Note) vice, Captain James Kearney White of HMS Thistle removed to HMS Peruvian.
