Folios 168-169: Charles Malcolm. HMS Rhin, off the Stact. He reports that William Lams, Trumpeter on HMS Rhin has given himself up as a deserter from the First Regiment Foot Guards in 1810. William Lams states he has been in His Majesty's Naval Service ever since.
