Folios 65-66: MacDowell [James M'Dowal], HMS Brisk, Greenock. Reply to letter dated 11 May 1815. He states in the cases of John Fletcher - Mate of the Sloop Janet and Alexander Park an Alleged Apprentice impressed from the same vessel by Lieutenant George Dove. John Fletcher was impressed in consequence of his having no Affidavit to protect him. Alexander Park the Alleged Apprentice, he has been by his own confession to Lieutenant George Dove two seasons at the Harring fishing previous to the date of his present Indenture.
Folios 67-68: enclosure with folios 65-66. Letter dated 6 May 1815 by Walter Turbet (Writer & Notary Public), Greenock, to the Admiralty On behalf of Master and Owner of the Sloop Janet. Requests the discharge of John Fletcher and Alexander Park.
