Folios 51-52: George McKinley, HMS Namur, Sheerness. Reply to letter dated 13 May 1814 and state that the Boy Edward Kilvert has been marked Run on the Books of HMS Namur as stated in his letter dated 10 May 1814. He sates when he took Command of GHMS Namur on 1 December [1813] and mustering the supernumeraries on 2 December [1813] the Boy Edward Kilvert was checked on long leave from the 18 October [1813] and so much time having elapsed he was Discharged. On his joining on 3 May 1814 and producing the Certificate of the Surgeon which was enclosed in his letter of the 10 May 1814 where he requested their instructions.
