Folios 48-49: John Lampen Manley, [His agent] Ommanney & Druce, 22 Norfolk St, Strand. States Captain John Lampen Manley having entertained Mr Colin McKenzie (A Diplomatic attached to Lord William Bentinck) on board HMS Badger on his passage from Mahon to Palermo between 28 February 1812 and 4 March 1812. Be request the usual allowance be paid.
Folio 50: enclosure with folios 48-49. Orders dated 28 February 1812 by Vice Admiral Sir Edward Pellew, HMS Caledonia, Port Mahon, to John Lampen Manley, HMS Badger. To receive on board Mr Mackenzie for a passage to Palermo with the accompanying dispatches to Rear Admiral Thomas Francis Fremantle.
