Folios 31-32: MacDowell [James M'Dowal], HMS Brisk, Greenock. Reply to letter dated 5 May 1815 he states John Anderson alias Roderick McLean was impressed from the sloop Thomas by Lieutenant Dove, aged 34 and has been employed by his own confession 18 years as a fisherman.
Folios 33-34: enclosure with folios 31-32. Margaret McLean , Greenock. Petition for the discharge of her Husband Roderick McLean.
