Folios 199-200. Kenneth McKenzie, HMS Venus, Woolwich. Requests that George Hawke, alias Hancock receive Bounty, as McKenzie's former Clerk omitted his name. He understands that Hawke's aged and respectable father has applied for his Son's discharge.
Folios 201-202: enclosure with folios 199-200. Letter from John Banks, Soho Square dated 14 February 1815 [to the Board]. Recommends the Board consent to the request as it appears a just appeal.
Folios 203-204 :enclosure with folios 199-200. Note from unnamed member of the Board dated 17 February [1815] asking if the man applied for by his father has been discharged.
Folios 205-206: enclosure with folios 199-200. Petition from James Hancock, White Street, Moorfields, a chair and venetian blind maker, dated 13 February 1815 for the discharge of his son, George Hancock, going by the name George Hawke, who was Entered on board HMS Enterprize on 6 November 1812, the day he absented himself from his apprenticeship to his father. He is now on board HMS Venus at Woolwich, under Captain Mackenzie.
