Folios 126-127: Zachariah Mudge, HMS Valiant, Funchal Road, Madeira. Recounts his journey from Cork with a convoy of 15 ships, departing on 5 December 1814. HMS Bacchus has suffered much in the gales, and the convoy were dispersed, with just 4 arriving with HMS Valiant at Funchal Road.
