Folios 516-517: Thomas Morgan, HMS Essex, Plymouth Sound. Transmitting his order to act as Commander of HMS Essex.
Folios 518-519: enclosure with folios 516-517. Order dated 3 August 1814 from Manley Dixon, Vice Admiral of the Fleet and Commander in Chief of His Majesty's Ships and Vessels employed on the coast of South America, on board HMS Achille. Order to take charge of the Essex, late American Frigate Prize to His Majesty's Ships.
