Folios 518-519: George Mowbray, HMS Moselle, Port Royal, Jamaica. Replies to Sir John Borlaise's memorandum saying John Slauhouse, HMS Moselle age 28 was impressed at Nassau New Providence by Lieutenant Oakley, HMS Moselle 18 November 1812 from a Privateer sloop of Nassau. Promoted to Quarter Master till arriving at Jamaica where his cousin at the Customs House applied for his discharge with two substitutes. Put run on the books as did not return from leave. Says he's returned to England on the May convoy.
