Folios 476-477: Thomas Mansell, HMS Pelican, Cork. Acknowledges receipt of letter 10 June. Reports on Ellen and Benson from Belfast to Lisbon. Issued Ellen's Master convoy instructions 18 April. Sailed from Cork 24 April. Captured by the Heron American Privateer 3 May. Ellen ignored instructions and bound for St Andero [Santander?]. A large and scattered convoy.
