Folios 446-447: William Augustus Montagu, HMS Niobe, Spithead. Acknowledges letter of 7th about LLoyds Coffee House enquiring into the capture of the Vivid and Ward bound for Belfast and the twelve ships that sailed under his protection from Lisbon. Reports giving instruction at Lisbon, all ships for St Georges Channel/Bristol should sail for Plymouth where they would receive a convoy. Says they sailed off and he could do nothing as didn't have another Man-of War.
