Folios 430-431: Murray Maxwell, Deal. Reports his return from India on HMS Cornwallis following the loss of his ship HMS Daedalus. Commends his officers and crew. Recommends James Adair Midshipman on HMS Daedalus and HMS Alceste who passed his lieutenants exams at Madras. Lost a left arm off Albenga. Was on main deck at Lissa while Lieutenant Nickman was onshore.
