Description

Folios 404-405: William Augustus Montagu, HMS Niobe, Spithead. Reporting his arrival from Lisbon. Left on 8th with convoy of foreign ships for North Europe ports.

Folio 406: enclosed in folios 404-405. Admiralty printed form. Paper Office, G.M. re. Lisbon.

Folios 407-408: enclosed in folios 404-405: Captain William Bowen Mends. Invalids discharged onto HMS Niobe from HMS Rodney for passage to England. By order Vice Admiral George Martin. William Rogers, John Reilly, Nicholas Wilkins, Richard Mason, Richard Lowther and James Robinson.

Folios 409-410: enclosed in folios 405-406. List of men discharged from military hospital for passage to England to rejoin HMS Primrose, by order Vice Admiral Martin. Printed form. John Simmonds, James Bunker, Peter Belchers, William Stoneham, James Nay, William Jackson, Robert Wainwright, James Humphry, Patrick Powell and Malcom Pratt. signed Captain Montagu.

Folios 411-412: enclosed in folios 404-405. Vice Admiral George Martin, C-in-C, HMS Rodney, Lisbo,n 2 May 1814. Captain George Montagu, HMS Niobe to convoy English, Portuguese and other merchants to the St Goerge Channel or Bristol Channel thence Spithead.

Folios 413-414: enclosed in folios 404-405. William Bennett, Carpenter. Report on ships repairs.

Folios 415-416: enclosed in folios 404-405. Captain George Montagu, HMS Niobe. Orders Vice Admiral Martin. Bill of lading. List of stores. James McKain.
