Folios 183-184: Donald MacLeod, Liverpool Regulating Captain. Told he cannot have his stationary allowance since his appointment to HMS Princess six shillings for 1813 £3.4.7 and asking to be released for a guinea charge for passing his books.
Folios 185-186: enclosed in folios 183-184. Letter dated 4 February 1814 by the Admiralty to Admiral Sir Joseph Yorke. Explaining why paying Captain MacLeod £3.10.7 is reasonable. Needing to correspond with the city's merchants.
