Folios 169-170: Donald MacLeod, Liverpool Regulating Captain, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Reply to letter 19th saying Bernard M'Gennis told Lieutenant Salmon he had been fishing from his childhood, why he impressed him.
Folios 171-172: enclosed in folios 169-170. Letter dated 19 February 1814 by John Draper Thompson, Liverpool. Encloses letter from John Fenwick, Ship Owner, North Shields 16th about his apprentice Bernard Maginnis impressed and now at Plymouth.
Folios 173-174: enclosed in folios 171-172. James Lyon, North Shields. Sends letter from Bernard Magennis onboard HMS Salvador del Mondo, Plymouth 6 February 1814. Impressed asking for help as he has never been at sea before his indenture.
Folios 175-176: enclosed in folios 169-170. Letter dated 16 February 1814 by John Fenwick jnr at J.D. Thompson's, Liverpool. Asks that Plymouth Port Admiral releases Bernard Maginnis brought on HMS Bittern as he is his lawful apprentice, encloses indentures.
