Folios 386-387: Donald M'Leod [MacLeod], Regulating Officer, Liverpool. Reply to letter dated 28 June 1813 he states James McMahone was imprest by Lieutenant William Archbold on 19 August 1812 as a Seafaring Landsman aged 23 born in Balbriggan. He came here in the Seaflower from Sherries. He was taken on information of his having used the Sea prevous to the date of the Indenture.
