Folios 384-385: Eyles Mounsher, HMS Brisk, Hamoaze. Reply to letter adted 28 June 1813 and request they will be pleased to allow Mr Peter Blake to become First Lieutenant of HMS Brisk. He also recommends Mr Robert Thomas Midshipman on HMS Creole , but late Master's Mate on HMS Brisk, having passed his examination for Lieutaenant more than twelve months. If they were to appoint him Second Lieutenant of HMS Brisk he would be happy to receive him.
