Folios 349-350: John M'Kerlie, HMS Calliope, off New wark [Neuwerk]. Reply to letter dated 27 May 1813 respecting the 73rd Regiment having been embarked on board Transports intended fro the Island of New Wark [Neuwerk] and to come out under covoy of HMS Piercer, since the date of that letter he has received an official notification from the Lieutenant Governor of Heligoland that the occupation of the Island is entirely abandoned by our Government. HMS Hearty is gone to Gottenburg with all the Transports that was at Heligoland on 8 June 1813. HMS Rosario also shall procveed to Gottenburg with the dispatched.
