Folios 273-274: David Milne, HMS Venerable, Spithead. Covering letter for the enclosed letter from Lieutenant George Augustus Schultz second Lieutenant of HMS Venerable. [Folio 274 - Admiralty note] 7 June 1813. Appoint Lieutenant Thomas Smith (3).
Folio 275: enclosure with folios 273-274. Letter dated 3 June 19813 by Lieutenant Thomas Smith (3). No 83 James Street, Plymouth Dock, to the Admiralty. Request for employment.
Folios 276-277: enclosure with folios 273-274. Letter dated 4 June 1813 by George Augustus Schultz, HMS Venerable , to the Admiralty. Requests to be superseded to attend to affairs at home which require his personal attendance.
