Description

Folios 236-237: Donald M'Leod [MacLeod], Regulating Officer, Liverpool. Reply to letter dated 26 May 1813 and states:- (1) John Wilson was imprest by Lieutenanat James Walker on 6 May 1813 aged 25 born in Workington. He said he was Mate of the Argo from Cork to Lisbon and back to Liverpool, but had given no Bond to perform the Duties. He remains on board HMS Princess. (2) George Evans was imprest by Lieutenant George Timmins on 21 aged 22 born in Blyth. He said he was Mate of the May Flower (had been nine years at sea) he had no documents to prove such. He remains on board HMS Princess. (3) He informs he has received £3-7s-8d being the amount of expenses incurred by Peter Tick[?] an Apprentice on board HMS Salvador del Mundo having entered the Service. As per your orders dated 25 May 1813.
