Covering letter for the enclosed Petition forwarded to him from Monsieur Lapinsonniere a French Prisoner of War on HMS Vengeance, whose Father is represented by Captain Lutyens of the 11th Light Dragoons to shew the greatest attention to himself and the other English Officers Prisoners of War at Amboise in France, as a mark of gratitude for the conduct of our Government towards him when a Prisoner of War in this Country, he being taken in the late Lord Rodney's Engage ment.
