Folios 280-281: Donald M'Leod [MacLeod], Regulating Officer, Liverpool. Nathaniel Crawford was impressed by Lieutenat Archbold on 20 [October 1812] as an Able Seaman aged 21, born in Liverpool. He was regulated as he thought it he had made a riot and had the Gang attacked by the mob, but on further inquiry it was not he who started the riot, although he took advantage of it and tried to escape.
Folios 282-283: enclosure with folios 280-281. Letter dated 5 November 1812 from Bolton & Littledale, Liverpool, to J W Croker, Admiralty, London. Apply for the discharge of Nathaniel Crawford, Mate of their ship Belmont, George Knubly [sp?] Master.
