Folios 270-271: Robert Maunsell, HMS Chatham, Hosely Bay. During the time he was serving on shore at Java the Purser of HMS Procris which he then commanded was appointed to HMS Beaucephalus [Bucephalus] and ordered to sea in immediately. As a result of signing the books and papers in a hurry he missed several places where he ought to have signed. He did not meet him again prior to having to leave India owing to ill health and had to leave them behind for his signature. All his accounts for HMS Procris previous to the last 6 months have passed as have those since for HMS Illustrious. Asks for a dispensing order so that he may receive his pay and half pay.
