Folios 259-260: Kenneth Mackenzie, Captain of HMS Venus, 5 Upper Gower Street, [London]. The owner of the Hawk privateer who has taken an action against him for impressing men lives in Guernesy and the Solicitor cannot find out what terms he will agree to without corresponding with him, but he believes he will not be prepared to settle unless the men are discharged. Mr Bethell the Admiralty Solicitor believes there is no legal defence to the action. Asks for directions to discharge the men.
