Description

Folios 172-173: James Sykes, Arundel Street, [London]. Encloses Vice Admiral George Martin's orders of 23 and 24 September [1812] to Captain James Ashley Maude of HMS Nemesis, directing him to receive Augustus H Bradshaw of the Pay Master General's department and to receive Monsieur Bardaie, the Spanish Minister late resident at Lisbon for passage from the Tagus to Portsmouth. Asks for the ususal remuneration.

Folio 174: enclosure with folios 172-173. Memorandum dated 23 September 1812 from George Martin., HMS Impetueux in the Tagus t Captain Maude, HMS Nemesis. Directs him to receive Augustus H Bradswhaw of the Pay Master General's department on board HMS Nemesis for a passage to England.

Folios 175-176: enclosure with folios 172-173. Duplicate of folios 141-142.
