Folios 367-368: enclosure with folios 365-366. Letter dated 17 May 1812 by Jonathan Gain, Purser of HMS Redpole to Captain Macdonald. Asks that he be allowed to join HMS Milan, the ship that he has been appointed to, given that there is no probability of Mr F. Thompson joining HMS Redpole.
