Description

Folios 236-237: Donald MacLeod, Regulating Captain, Liverpool. Regarding the cases of Jonathan Goddard, William Williams, James Moderen, Thomas Williams, Jonathan Dodge.

Folios 238-239: enclosure with folios 236-237. Letter dated 20 April 1812 by Jane Williams, Liverpool. Asks for the discharge of her son William Williams.

Folios 240-241: enclosure with folios 236-237. Undated letter by Rowland Hill. Asks for the release of John Ince.

Folios 242-243: enclosure with folios 236-237. Letter dated 17 April 1812 by Martha Ince, 19 Greetam Street, Liverpool. Asks for the release of her son John Ince.

Folio 244: enclosure with folios 236-237. Letter dated 16 April 1812 by Rowland Hill, Rector of St Mary's Chester. Certifies that John Ince has lived in St Mary's Parish, Chester, from the day of his birth until March last when he went to Liverpool in order to procure work.

Folio 244A: enclosure with folios 236-237. Certificate dated 5 April 1810 by the Robert Porter, Collector of Mississippi, that Jonathan Dodge is an American seaman. Physical description also included.
