Description

Folios 218-219: James Wilkes Maurice, Anholt. Encloses a letter from Lieutenant Hanlon, Royal Marines.

Folios 220-221: enclosure with folios 218-219. Letter dated 12 April 1812 by John Hanlon, 1st Lieutenant, Royal Marines, Anholt Garrison, to J W Maurice, Captain and Governor of Anholt. Having served 1 year on the Island of Anholt and having private matters to attend to asks to be discharged.

Folio 222: enclosure with folios 218-219.Gneral return of the effective strength of the Garrison of Anholt, dated 13 April 1812.
