Folios 241-242: Donald McLeod, Regulating Captain, Liverpool. He refers to a copy letter from Captain Evans about the possibility of establishing a Rendezvous at Chester about which it is his opinion that Chester is not a suitable location due to ships landing on the opposite side of the estuary. Parkgate or Isle of Man would be better suited. A gang from Liverpool could be spared to operate from there due to decrease in shipping at Liverpool.
