Folios 128-129: Donald McLeod, Regulating Captain, Liverpool. Robert Tedbald was impressed by Lieutenant Evans as an Able Seaman aged 36, born in Philadelphia. Although he said he had not been in Liverpool before, his Landlady said he, whom she suposed to be a British citizen, had stayed with her on 2 previous times. Thomas Hill entered with Lieutenant Archbold as a Volunteer aged 19, born in Liverpool. He denied being an Apprentice.
Folios 130-131: enclosure with folios 128-129 dated 6 October 1811 from William Carter, Liverpool. He is sending the indentures (not present) of his Apprentice Thomas Hill, aged 17 who enetered on HMS Princess. He asks for his discharge.
Folio 132: enclosure with folios 128-129 dated October 1807 signed by David Gelston, Collector of the District of New York. Certificate that Robert Tedbald is an American Seaman and a citizen of the United States.
