Folios 124-125: Donald McLeod, Regulating Captain, Liverpool. He has sent the enclosure with the letter he received on 5 October to Captain Galloway, HMS Princess, the books for 1808 of which are at the Navy Board. In the Rendezvous books, Charles Wilson was impressed by Lieutenant Keys on 23 February 1808. Samuel Hazlem and Joshua Swallow, Landsmen, were received as substitutes for him.
Folios 126-127: enclosure with folios 124-125 dated 3 October 1811 from Charles Wilson, 19 Brown Bear Alley, Lower East Smithfield. Petition sworn at Dockery Square on 2 September 1811 before Stephen Wright, John Scott and Thomas Wright. He was impresed in 1808 and sent onboard HMS Princess at Liverpool. Two substitutes were provided and he was given a certificate of discharge signed by Captan Colgate, which he subsequently lost when he fell into the Riiver Tyne. He asks for a copy of the certificate from the ship's books at Somerset House or from HMS Princess at Liverpool.
