Folios 269-270: Donald M'Leod [Donald MacLeod], Regulating Officer, Liverpool. He states that George Stewart was impressed by Lieutenant Henry Raye on 22 March 1811 aged 18 a native of Ireland. He was claimed as an Apprentice but no Indenture was produced. He has since seen a Bond with stamp and Affidavit bearing the date of his Indenture and request an order for his discharge. Also enclosed is an affidavit produced by a man calling himself John Anderson aged 43 born in Bretagne. He can speak English, Welch, French & Swedish but says he is a native of France although his affidavit says he was born in Stockholm. He says he has served seven years as Servant to Captain Scott RN at Gravesend. He has sent him on board HMS Princess until any decision is made.
Folios 271-272: enclosure with folios 269-270:. Protection certificate dated 14 January 1809, [in two pieces], for John Anderson aged 39 born in Stockholm.
