Folios 252-253: Donald M'Leod [Donald MacLeod], Regulating Officer, Liverpool. Reply to letter dated 19 March 1811. He states:- (1) Robert Chambers was impressed by Lieutenant Thomas Evans on 12 March 1811 as an Ordinary Seaman aged 25 born in Denbighshire. He is said to have been employed as a Rigger in this Town for sometime back, but had not obtained a protection. (2) George Trafford entered with Lieutenant William Archbold on 10 March 1811 as a Landsman aged 18 years born Sankey. He positively denied being an Apprentice. (3) John Threlfall entered with Lieutenant Henry on the 1st March 1811 as a Landsman Volunteer aged 21 born in Liverpool. He also positively denied being an Apprentice.
