Folios 205-206: John Marshall, Regulating Officer, Poole Rendezvous. Reply to letter dated 2 March 1811. In the case of Alexander Brown he states he was impressed by him on the night of 10 February 1811 at 9 o'clock on shore he having ran through several streets with an intention to get away, after he was taken, he made great resistance. The next day the Master of the ship Lady Catheart came and claimed him in a very abusive and impertinent manner, saying, that he was in His Majesty's Service - and insisted upon him discharging him, he is 22 years old , has been 9 years at sea and was discharged to HMS Royal William as an Able Seaman on 12 February 1811.
Folios 207-208: enclosure with folios 205-206. Letter dated 1 March 1811 by Joseph Edingworth, Portsmouth, to the Admiralty. Request for Alexander Brown to be discharged.
